Interview
From initial phone screening, to phone interview, to on site interview, to feedback, the process took over a month.
Wasn’t selected for position which is fine, but the manager said it is company policy to not give out feedback after an on-site interview. This was baffling and insulting given that a good recruiter is a coach and consultant for their candidates.
My assumption for the “lack of feedback” is that the company is retooling their image and doesn’t want poor talent acquisition processes to be known publicly.
Fishbowl type environment where management is always watching.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Fisher Investments (Portland, OR) in May 2019
Interview
Internal recruiter interviewed me by phone. She asked me various questions but didn't really seem interested in my answers. I felt she was distracted and was just going through the motions. She didn't really care about me.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Fisher Investments (Camas, WA) in Nov 2016
Interview
Phone screening interview. A week later was an "on campus" interview at their Camas, WA campus - was there a total of 2 hours (tour of campus, 1:1 interview with one manager, then a second 1:1 interview with another manager). It is a very formal workplace -men in suits or long shirts with ties, almost all women I saw were in heels. Took about a week later to hear back that I didn't get the job. They would not provide any feedback on why I was not chosen.
