I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Fisher Investments (Camas, WA) in Nov 2012
Interview
The first thing that happens after you apply is a recruiter will eventually get in contact with you. This delay is something I think they should change. The recruiter was very professional and friendly and motivated me. You then meet at a FI location and interview with three people in one day. It takes about two hours, they really grill you and are not very friendly during the onsite interview. I asked why they were like that and they said it was to see my reaction to difficult questions as you would deal with these types of people during your career.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Nothing was that difficult, just answer truthfully and with confidence.
Similar to most other interviews, very basic questions testing fit and values. Multiple rounds, but mostly wanted to learn more about you and why you wanted to work for Fisher.
It was clear and easy. The people were very friendly and they made sure to aska range of questions. There were 3 rounds I believe. The first two were more in depth to gauge character
I applied online. I interviewed at Fisher Investments (Plano, TX) in May 2026
Interview
Three rounds of interviews. The first one was on zoom. Second one was on site with a tour of the property. Final was on zoom again. Final interview was definitely the most difficult. At the end of the final interview I was told the hiring managers were going to review candidates and that I would hear from them by the end of the week. I never heard from them again. Very strange. Thought after 3 rounds of interviews they would at least reach out to tell me no.
