I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Fisher Investments (Vancouver, WA) in Sep 2009
Interview
I was recruited at a job fair. My information was given to a recruiter, and then I went through number of interviews. I had a phone interview, then was asked to come on-site for a 1:1 interview. The 1:1 interview lasted about 5 hours, and I was gradually interviewed by higher supervisors. 3 days later I was asked to do an on the phone mock-sales call and then I was offered a job later that day. I declined the offer because I was offered another job at a more desireable company.
Similar to most other interviews, very basic questions testing fit and values. Multiple rounds, but mostly wanted to learn more about you and why you wanted to work for Fisher.
It was clear and easy. The people were very friendly and they made sure to aska range of questions. There were 3 rounds I believe. The first two were more in depth to gauge character
I applied online. I interviewed at Fisher Investments (Plano, TX) in May 2026
Interview
Three rounds of interviews. The first one was on zoom. Second one was on site with a tour of the property. Final was on zoom again. Final interview was definitely the most difficult. At the end of the final interview I was told the hiring managers were going to review candidates and that I would hear from them by the end of the week. I never heard from them again. Very strange. Thought after 3 rounds of interviews they would at least reach out to tell me no.
