I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Fisher Investments (London, England) in May 2015
Interview
First I was emailed by one of the recruiters from the London's office after she saw my profile on Linkedin. She called me and started to beg me to be part of Fisher Investments and I told her that I wasn't looking for a job at all as I had to prepare for finals. So she goes to make an appointment for a Skype interview with the hiring manager for the following day.
The following day, the hiring manager asked me questions like "Why Fisher Investment?", "Tell me about what our company does", "Describe me the job you'll do for us". My thoughts at that time were "Are you serious?". Obviously I didn't tell him, but I was utterly surprised that he was asking me questions like that as I didn't choose them, but instead I was the one to be picked. I didn't even know they existed, so how can you ask me such questions? You beg me to work for you and then you give me a few hours to know everything your business does when I clearly told you I'm preparing finals? I did some research on the Internet whilst preparing for my exams, so I answered by saying what I found online, but, apparently, it was not enough for them.
I would advice people to totally avoid Fisher Investments. It's a call center business that has very negligent people in it. There are better alternatives out there. I can't even believe I wasted my time with them.
I enjoyed the process but also no idea where it’s going. Excited to see what happens and hoping for a good result. Also I need to write 30 words I guess
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Fisher Investments (Camas, WA) in Jun 2021
Interview
Don’t apply. The only entry position is client service associate which is basically busy work nobody wants to do. They respond to your application quickly because HR is measured by success on how many interviews they do. So they literally interview knowing that they aren’t going to hire. That’s why they always have job openings listed on their website. So they can keep HR busy. The firm has no flexibility. 50 hours of busy work if you do take the job. The process consists of a phone screening then round robin with multiple teams claiming they have open positions but again they only hire CSA for new hires. Questions are all normal behavioral and really easy but hiring is really dependent on if enough people have quit recently that they need bodies.

Interview
The overall interview process was pretty lengthy. For starters, you aren’t applying for the “Investment Associate” role but rather multiple roles that the company thinks you’d fit in well with. First you meet with a recruiter, then you meet with multiple hiring managers, then a debrief with a recruiter about your experience, and then back to one of the hiring managers, and finally culminating with a Vice President or “higher-up.” All this being said, everyone was very polite and welcoming throughout the process. Interview questions were standard behavioral questions with a few random ones mixed in. Expect the whole process to take at least a month from start to finish.
