First round involved two interviews - first is a Spark Hire video interview and the second is a 1-on-1 interview with a member of the Flagship Pioneering team.
I just finished my Spark Hire video interview. There are 6 questions you need to answer in 1-3 minutes with unlimited think time and 2 retakes. they give you 48 hours to record your answers. Since there is no time limit for coming up with answers after viewing the questions, make sure to really think about what you are going to say before you hit 'record'. Also the way Spark Hire interviews work is that you can leave the interview between questions and return at a later time but you cannot exit the browser after you've viewed the question. It will show up as a 'skipped question' if you do that and you won't be able to answer it.

Interview
Quick video call with two partners, nothing special or notable. They were professional and courteous. I was interviewing for the summer program and not sure if VC was a career I’d want long term, and they were willing to talk to me about their own experiences. I ultimately did not end up in VC, but it was a good learning experience to see what was out there.
