I applied online. I interviewed at Fleet Feet (Austin, TX)
Interview
I applied online and the manager called me within a few hours. He was very casual and unprofessional. He asked me to come in to 'hang out and see how they do things'. I was there for about 2 hours and they showed me how they do things then just casually chatted. One of the questions I was asked is if I have ever done magic mushrooms. Unprofessional.

I applied in-person. I interviewed at Fleet Feet (Hoboken, NJ)
Interview
The interview was just a conversation with the owner about availability and retail experience. Very casual, just in the store. Knowledge of running and shoes was helpful but not necessary. They had me come back another day to shadow staff for a few hours to make sure it was a good fit.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Fleet Feet (Washington, DC) in Apr 2024
Interview
It was pretty mellow and easy going. More of a conversation and trying to get to know you as a person. Felt like a conversation with an old friend. It was overall a great experience and the operations manager was very kind.
