Joke!!! if there was one word to describe their interview process, I was contacted by this company and a phone interview was scheduled with 2 people in IT dept When they called they talked about the company for 3 mins and another 2 mins giving a very high level overview about the position, I was told a new director has joined and wants to expand the team. And to my Surprise they asked NO QUESTIONS. I mean why would you call for an interview and ask No questions at all? I mean how would they know any of my skill set without asking a single question? if my resume gave them all the info and I am not a fit then why even setup a phone interview? they asked if I had any questions, I asked a couple which again was answered at a very high level. The interview was over in less than 10 mins which I was surprised about, I thought if I said or answered something which was a red flag but since I was not asked a single question, there was no way I said anything. All through the interview only the architect was talking, the manager didn't talk or ask anything at all which was really weird. I also thought maybe because they don't have a HR they just want to talk about the company and might have reserved all the questions for an In person interview.
I then received a "we are moving to a different candidate email".
From the info I gathered it looks like the director wants to make changes and bring more people but the manager and team might not want it. Reading the other review just cements that I am not the only person who was treated this way. This was complete waste of time. Hopefully the director sits on the calls going forward.
I was contacted by two other recruiters shortly after this but I let them know I wasn't interested
