      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Fleetio (Birmingham, AL) in Jan 2020

      Interview

I applied for Fleetio in July of 2019 at that time the positions available had been filled. I was contacted by one of Fleetio's incredible recruiters Danielle 7 MONTHS later. ( come on, what companies in today's world keep candidates profiles for that long and actually follow up with them? Fleetio certainly does) Danielle stated that they had kept my resume on file to contact me when another position became available. She was incredible through the whole interview process and really kept me in the loop through the different stages. Everyone was professional and welcoming during my interview and by the time I got to the last stage I was completely sold on Fleetio. I accepted my offer and haven't looked back. The transparency I had during the interview followed me to my job and everything I was promised/ told about has happened. I couldn't imagine working anywhere else!

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

No one asked me basic interview questions you are used to hearing. Fleetio really wants to get to know their candidates on a personal level. It's why we are such a strong team.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience! Fleetio Recruiting keeps a "pipeline" (i.e., a list) of potential candidates that have either applied and/or interviewed with us before. As we open new roles, we check our pipeline to see if previous applicants may be a fit for the open opportunity. We're so glad we reached out to you at the right time!

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Fleetio (Birmingham, AL) in Dec 2019

      Interview

I was referred to the position by a current employee. The interview process is multistep but ultimately feels very thorough. After applying, I received an email within a few days inviting me to have a phone interview with one of the lead recruiters. It was about 25 minutes and I was told at the end that I was moving on to the next step. I then scheduled a video interview with the team lead for about 20-30 minutes to discuss my qualifications for the role. I was sent a portfolio type assignment with 4 essay-style questions to get a feel for my quality of work and how I'd handle a specific situation. The first few questions involved some research and the last focused on how to handle an upset customer/difficult situation. All in all, the entire process lasted for about 2 weeks and was fast pace. The last step was an in-office team interview. Everyone was very friendly and professional! I received a call from the lead recruiter making an offer later that week.
