Avoid their take-home assignment.
This company appears to be exploiting candidates to collect free work for their teams. I submitted production-ready code that met all requirements, only to be rejected outright without even progressing to the next round, which was supposed to involve discussing the code.
The process felt discriminatory. After the hiring manager round, they rushed to send me the coding task, which I completed and submitted within a day. Instead of a proper debrief or discussion, I received a generic rejection. It’s evident they are keeping and potentially using the code, which raises serious ethical concerns. Proceed with caution if you consider engaging with them.
