Hiring Manager - The hiring manager was nice, there were a few times he cut me off but maybe I was long winded when reviewing my experience.
Assessment - Take home assessment, they want you to design an application's infrastructure and defend your choices.
Team Interview - I declined to go further on the interview process.
Exec Interview - I declined to go further on the interview process.
I decided to not continue with the interview process after reviewing the benefits. Non birthing parents only get 4 weeks of leave, while birthing get 12 weeks. PTO is also non-negotiable starting at 20 days and it is honestly a little low for information technology/development roles.
The 4 weeks for non-birthing parent seems like it could be a point to discriminate against. One person gets 12 weeks, and another gets 4 weeks, that is 8 weeks they don't have to pay without work when they hire a non-birthing employee. I encourage fleetio to update their parental leave policy, my state gives 12 weeks in parental leave and I think they could match that at minimum.
