I had the first phone interview with HR.
Received verbal confirmation in the that I not only meet but were also a perfect match with all requirements of the position in terms of experience and educations and the market knowledge.
However, when the hiring manager in the UK saw my age and photo, the process went silent, without response or feedback.
After reaching out to HR a few weeks later, the response was that the position was taken by another candidate. Yet HR kept re-posting the position as open in several recruitment forums.
Flex state on their website "Flex does not discriminate in employment opportunities or practices based on: AGE, RACE, religion, COLOUR, sex, national origin, marital status, sexual orientation, gender identity, veteran status, disability, pregnancy status or any other status protected by law."
This statement is unfortunately not true!
In reality, especially UK management does not follow these directives, as being confirmed by local employees.
