First off all, The interview process starts of with a machine coding round where you are asked to come at 09:00 am and then just to reject you at machine coding round they take 9 more hours (i.e)at 06:00 pm. The machine coding round is for OOPs oriented enginners. They do not check for logic and and only check whether the OOPs concepts are implemented or not in the code. This way of checking leads me to think, is Flipkart doing any interesting development or only trying to maintain / migrate the code. IF they are really into development, then they would atlas look at the approach of the candidate. They just look oops concepts are implemented. For any one attending Flipkart interview, Just make sure that you have Abstract class and interface in your code. The next round is evaluation of the code. I highly suggest you go on a weekday. At least the interviewers are bit skilled enough. Interviewers who come on weekend seemed dumb to me. This was the opinion of many people who came to drive on that. Let me tell you guys, if you are done with machine round, consider you are 90% through the interview. The questions they ask during machine coding round are average quality. But they are lengthy. You need more than 90 mins to do this perfectly the way they wanted it. Glad I made it to Amazon.
