Flipkart came for campus recruitment in my university. Initially, there was an online test to shortlist. The online test consisted of two coding questions and some MCQs (time was 2 hrs). 20 people were shortlisted from the test. Only 4 were able to solve both the coding questions. I could solve only 1, but got through. Then there was a further elimination round in which they asked a program based on trees (counting no. of nodes in each level in a tree). 9 remaining candidates wee interviewed. I had to give 4 interviews of 45 min each. Questions mostly on DSA, graph theory. Interviewers helped through the thinking process.

There is a gang war going on between multiple gangs (many people & they have been fighting for some time). Police has to stop it. What will you do?” This seems really ambiguous and abstract. But later on it comes on to finding which person belongs to which gang. And ultimately its solution is related to Graphs. I wasn’t told to write the code.

Three rounds post coding test. First-round is machine coding. The rest 2 are Data Structures algo. Post that Hiring Manager round. Machine coding round is where you try to design a system, the test is mostly around system understanding and oops concepts.
