I was initially called my flipkart HR directly to talk in for the interview. It was a whole day process starting from morning to evening on a Saturday. First was the coding round were given a problem had to do machine coding, tips to the guys for this round do not worry to make the code work, just write as many test cases you can also make the code modular easily readable, talk to the interviewers on the design assumption if you ask them questions and get clarified, they really appreciate than starting to code immediately. Prepare on data structure algorithm and design round thoroughly it will not be a cake walk.

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Flipkart (Hyderābād) in Mar 2019
Interview
Full day interview held at Westin, Hyderabad.
Started with machine coding wherein we were given a problem statement and asked to write code in preferred language. We were expected to submit a compiling and running code which would pass test cases given in the problem statement. We were given 2 hours. Post submission, there was a one on one discussion on the code we submitted with one of the interviewers.
Post that, we went through series of one on one rounds on datastructures/algorithms, low level design and high level design, ending with a hiring manager round.

Question 1
1. Given stock values at different times over a day, when would you buy and sell so as to get maximum profit.
2. A question on minimum spanning tree. Worded like this : Flipkart has warehouses across country. With cost associated with moving a parcel from each ware house to each other. As cost optimization, they want to remove routes but all warehouses should be connected.
3. Design a warehouse with racks, slots for parcels, and which has these two main functions : getParcel(parcelId) , storeParcel(parcel)

Interview
I was called in a recruitment drive happening on a weekend. I felt their arrangement for panel and interview conduction is totally unprofessional. While I was told that it'll take 4-5 hrs for the entire interview process to be over, they actually made us sit from 9:30 in the morning to 7:30 in the evening and still the interview rounds were not complete. There were gaps of 2-3 hrs between each round. They had called more people than the panel there could handle. I was told I'll be called for the final round later and let me go.
I kept following with them for the final round and I was stunned by their unprofessionalism. They kept on scheduling and cancelling the interview at least four times in next one month. Finally it happened on one fine day and the hiring manager told I would get to know about the result in maximum couple of days time. There was no intimation from HR for next one week. When I followed up with HR, she asked me questions like who took your final round, how many rounds you have taken. Height of unprofessionalism!!! I did not get any response after that. After couple of days I wrote a mail to the HR and in 2 minutes she replied back that they won't able to proceed further. No proper feedback was given and a drama of one month with stress and tension came to an end.
