One telephonic. Followed by 3-4 rounds of technical interview. Interviews will include testing basics, coding in your preferred language and also includes algorithms, data structures. They need people who can work more and they have the capacity to compensate the same way. The company started more than 7 years back, yet they do not have any process in place. The team i was interviewed was new and they really wanted some very good developers who could take the test role. The platform which they were working on was completely unstable and they wanted a test engineer to do CI/CD, build automation deployment, set up two environments, build an automation framework and also do testing. They would have payed what i would have asked for if i had cleared all the rounds, but i guess they were expecting more than what a person could do in real.
