After submitting my application, which included a well-crafted cover letter and resume emphasizing my relevant experience in relation to the position, I was pleased to receive a response from the hiring team a few days later. However, instead of scheduling a traditional interview, they informed me that I would be participating in a one-way interview where I would record myself via. 3rd party application: HireVue responding to their predetermined questions. While I appreciate that my experience resonated with the requirements of the position, I must admit that I'm somewhat perplexed as to why I haven't been granted the opportunity for a face-to-face conversation. Given that my qualifications appear to align with their expectations, I believe that a direct dialogue would allow both parties to better assess the potential fit between myself and the organization. I can't work for company that conducts 'interviews' this way. so I withdrew.
