They asked very standard behavioral questions plus other experience type questions related to the position. I believe they already had someone in mind since it seemed like we were gong through the motions.

Lots of "we value x... tell me about a time when..."
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Fluke Corporation (New York, NY) in Mar 2023
Interview
Very long interview process. There were five interviews before being rejected. All the people were relatively new to the company which makes you wonder if they have difficulty retaining people. The hiring manager was young and inexperienced and asked very basic questions. The director was new to the company and seemed intent on showing how smart she is, without really asking any useful questions. The job was advertised as a technical sales position, but it really seemed like a door to door sales position more suited to someone who is a used car salesman. They post a wide salary range (122 to 240), but in reality they were only willing to pay at the low end of the range so very deceptive. They only want someone very young so they can pay a very low salary. This is not a job suitable for someone with experience.
