I've interviewed twice for Fluke in two different departments within the last year. My first experience was extremely poor due to the fact they never got back to me on their decision. It took two weeks from the final interview and it was an extremely generic "no" from a recruiter.
My second interview experience was a lot more pleasant and started off great. However, during three of the conversations, I was asked specific questions about new ideas/programs/software that I would use within this role. At the time of the interview, I felt that I was speaking to the ideas I would bring to the role. However, after, it was made clear that this was more transaction. I feel that they used me for the ideas and then will have whomever else implement them. (Two of the panelists had even admitted to researching one of the ideas).
They are extremely particular about the STAR method, even though not everyone in the interview process will say so. I went through 3 interviews before they said that's how they were to record each of the questions they asked.
Thankfully I was told much sooner about their decision on this role.
