Send initial application - wait 2 weeks for a reply. Get a form letter reply asking to do a one way video interview. One way video questions were generic and provided no real opportunity to showcase skills or personality and only allowed 1 minute answers. Wait 2 weeks for another reply. Scheduled phone call with CEO. Phone call went well but then I (only 1 week later instead of the previous 2 week wait on earlier steps) was sent a form letter that they were moving forward with other candidates. For such a small team I found it interesting that it is taking them nearly 2 months to make a decision. Before having the call with the CEO I had determined this wouldn't be a company I would want to work with more than likely even if an offer came.
