The interview process was wonderful! The supervisor was extremely professional, thorough, kind, honest, and willing to answer all my questions during the interview. After concluding the interview, I was hired and told to expect a call to schedule a time to begin training. There are a few steps that must be completed before an interview can take place. I had to submit my application to the store via Food Lion’s website (where you choose the store and position you desire) and then I followed up with the hiring supervisor, whom I first spoke with to let her know I had put in my application and was interested in working at her store. She called me in for an interview that same day within a few hours of my first call. You must allow at least one business day to allow your application with attached resume (if you have one) to load into the system. Be sure that you have the correct store and position selected before moving forward with the application. Follow up within the next 24-48 hours to let the supervisor for the department your applying for know that you have completed your application and would like the opportunity to interview.
