I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Foot Locker (Kingston upon Thames, England) in Nov 2019
Interview
Filled out a form online then someone from HR rang and had a phone call interview which was about 5 mins give or take and then an in person interview with the manager - they ask you to come in trainers/sneakers to see what you would wear on shop floor. i got handed the job on the spot
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
asked what type of shoes i like and what my product knowledge is
The interview setting is a group interview. Everyone was dressed somewhat casually and in their favourite sneakers. We were interviewed by the store manager and an assistant manager in both English and French since it was in Quebec. The questions were relatively easy, and it was easy to get your personality out there in this kind of environment.

Question 1
If an item was out of stock, how would you handle that situation with a customer?
I applied online and got a phone call a week later to do the in person interview. In person I had to visit the store and ask for the manager that contacted me.
It was 10-15 minutes. Went pretty easy. They asked about me random questions and then told me about the job. The interviewer was nice and told me not to worry and that it is just general things.
