Discrimination at its finest, I was contacted by a staffing firm to interview for a role here. The instant I got on the WebEX call they were nitpicking at me. They nitpicked at my audio quality (which was fine) then they wanted me to dial into the meeting while staying on video. We didn't even finish the interview because they said I didn't have my degree. They knew this going into it and not only that but the position didn't require me to have one. Everyone on the call knew that I had the experience to do the job. Plus, I've worked at Ford before so I can speak to their culture more than anything. If you don't "look" like the members of your core team then they will treat you like an outsider.
