I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Formlabs (Boston, MA) in May 2016
Interview
I applied online and was quickly contacted. The woman that contacted me set up a phone interview for a couple of days later, the other party never showed up for the call. They contacted me a couple of weeks later and set up a second call. The person that called me was not a VP, Director or even a Manager; it was a sales rep. His questions were unprepared and clearly showed his inexperience in interviewing someone. It was at this point I knew I did not want the job and decided to close the sales rep extremely hard on committing to the job or a second interview. Seeing they wasted my time twice I wanted to have some fun. His response was he had to get back to the team. "All decisions are made collectivly." Which I asked what "if it was your decision do you think I would be a good fit for the job?" He stammered and repeated the "All decisions are made collectively" line. I was not impressed with any part of their process.
I enjoyed interviewing at this company. It was more of a conversation to get to know each other and the questions were not the usual questions asked at interviews. The interviewer was friendly.
