The interview process was a mess at every stage. There was a mixup of time zone during the screening call and last minute reschedule during the functional interview. In both cases, the poor time management was handled smoothly with excellent communication. However, the interview with the local General Manager was terrible - disrespect, arrogance, inability to embrace diversity of opinions, and lacking in integrity. If you tell a candidate that the next step is to meet the global head and say that arrangements will be made soon, please commit to it. If the decision was not to proceed, please update the outcome directly. Please show respect to candidates and provide a human touch, especially those who have gone through several stages of the interview process and have met you.

I started with a phone interview, came in for an in-person session with three members of the team, and then had a followup phone conversation with the head of the department. After my last conversation I was told I was a finalist candidate, but when I didn't hear back from them after a few weeks I reached out and received a rejection. The position is still open 8 months later.
