Process started as a very standard recruiting sequence, but quickly unraveled. At first, the recruiter sent me a scheduler link for which I gave my availabilities. They were pretty respectful of my time and clear up until after the hiring manager interview. HM barely listened to me, dismissed my experiences, even suggested I go apply for a different role (that he has no involvement with). When I reiterated that I was applying for the PM role, he shrugged and said he was looking for someone with more industry-specific experience. After that, recruiter stopped sending me the scheduler, instead opting to randomly shoot me some times last-minute and ask if I could make it to 3 back-to-back interviews. I was not told ahead of time that there would be a full interview day, nor was the nature of these interviews disclosed until I asked. And even then, after I gave availability, they would respond at Friday 4PM ET if I could come in on Monday. The take-home assignment was poorly structured, and on the day I presented it, both interviewers were late by significant margins (over 50% of the interview time slot was over), and they did not acknowledge that this at all. This forced me to repeat the first half of my presentation, preventing me from actually diving into real product points.

The interview process included two HR rounds focused on understanding my background, motivations, and cultural fit. This was followed by two technical rounds that assessed my domain knowledge and problem-solving abilities. Finally, I completed a technical assessment to further demonstrate my skills in a practical context. Overall, it was a comprehensive and well-structured process.
