I was contacted by Forterra a couple of years ago but was working fulltime. I later reached out to them and applied for a job position for which I am highly qualified. I was emailed shortly after and told to schedule my availability for an initial interview. The recruiter was a no-call, no-show. This was a red flag, but I was very interested in the position so I contacted them. I was scheduled for a 15-minute interview where the staff did all the talking like a rehearsed script, and could hardly answer my questions, red flag #2. Anyway, the conversation ended positively and I was told about the next interview rounds and told someone would reach out to me at the end of the week for step 2. I asked, how urgently are you looking to fill the role and was told "immediately." However, the interview process is extremely drawn out with multiple interviews, presentations, and tours. All which I'm accustomed to but unnecessary. A couple of days later, I received an automatic denial email. After doing research this job has been open for years. They keep reposting it every month. I'm happy I did not decline the job offer I received before this. Don't waste your time with Forterra!
