I submitted an application online and received a call and email the following week to meet with a recruiter who would also be a colleague for the position. We had an informative chat about the role, my background, and the current environment and wishlist with regards to employee engagement. My resume was forwarded on to a director, who decided to move forward with other candidates with more work experience (which was communicated to me promptly). Although I want chosen for a second interview, I appreciate the honestly and courtesy, and hope there will be future openings — it says a lot about the company and their investment in employees, and I would eagerly apply again!
