I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Fortitude Systems in Jun 2019
Interview
This was an absolute joke. Got called by a recruiter out of no where and was told that they were very interested in me flying out to their DC office for an in person interview day. After speaking with the recruiter who was extremely fun and energetic, I agreed to fly out. They said go ahead and book it, then they would reimburse me within 5 days of the interview date. Let’s just say that was the first issue. Took over a month and me bugging the recruiter about it to finally get my money back. Was told by my recruiter 3 times that they shipped it and would get tracking. Each time I asked for the tracking I was no replied to. In addition to the extreme delay in the reimbursement, the interview day was 14 hours long with 25+ interviews. There were about 15 of us in the office being interviewed. After the interviews about 6 of us were invited to happy hour which we were told basically got you a job offer. The others were just told the interview process was over and didn’t mention a happy hour at all. The happy hour was fine, with even more interviews. Few days go by and got a post interview questionnaire that required about 5 pages of paragraph answers. I completed that and was told that I would get my offer in the next day or two. Week goes by and nothing. I reach out, no response. I called everyday for about 2 weeks and finally got through to my recruiter who simply said if I hadn’t heard back I was not selected. This company did not even have the respect to call or email the people who spent three days to fly out there and meet them. Out of the 15 of us who flew out, not a single person was offered a position. PRETTY SURE THIS IS A SCAM. The position of account executive is a lie as well. It’s 100% pure recruiting.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Fortitude Systems (Dallas, TX) in May 2023
Interview
I spoke over the phone a few times with a current employee recruiting me. I had to pay for a flight for an In-person interview day with other candidates but was reimbursed. Not much to it the 1 day besides conversing with the employees and lunch and happy hour.

Very conversational and welcoming. I felt that most of my questions were answered to the best of their abilities. I was flown out for a final interview and well taken care of, I enjoyed my experience and getting to meet some of the team.
I was reached out by one of the employees looking for former student athletes to possibly look into working for them. Interview was quick and friendly, highly recommend the process even if you are only slightly interested.
