Started with a phone interview with a Fortive corporate recruiter. I was then contacted by the local HR person for the the division with the opening and asked to have a video interview with the hiring manager. When I joined the video call, the hiring manager told me the position had just been filled and she didn't want to waste my time. I checked my email and saw she had sent a cancellation only 8 minutes before my call. I had spent hours preparing for the interview.
