I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Forward Financing (Boston, MA)
Interview
First round phone interview with recruiter. The whole process was very impersonal, which it can be hard to do over the phone but it was all very routine and transactional. Being asked questions like what was my GPA does not seem productive in a highly people oriented role. The call dropped in the middle of the conversation and when the recruiter called me back there was no laughing it off or anything, it was just very awkward. I felt somewhat uptight throughout the conversation and although the company seems great, I'm glad I wasn't asked to come in for an in person interview. I think there needs to be work done on their interviewing/hiring process. It should be about building relationships and not checking off boxes.
