I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Fossil Group in Oct 2007
Interview
Fossil was recruiting for the mall I was working at and the manager from the mall I wanted to work at was there. We spoke for a few moments while I filled out my application and set up a time to get together. I met the store manager at the store and she was the only person there so we just chatted and talked about retail business in general. How were previous sales? How do you handle situations? Payroll, customer service the ordinary business stuff. It was a little informal and rushed but it was fine. The store manager was about to go out of town so she did not really communicate the next steps of interviewing with the district manager. I was under the impression that I would be meeting him at the store because he was in town, but when I showed up at the store I was informed that it was a phone interview, so embarrassing.
