I was initially contacted by a recruiting agency for the position. My qualifications were sent to the hiring manager and we quickly set up an on site interview. When on site, I was very impressed with the office building and the people working there. I interviewed shortly with the hiring manager and then the UX team I would have worked with. Both interviews were very laid back and conversational with much laughing. I felt like I had really hit it out of the park with the interview. After leaving I was contacted by the original recruiter telling me that they loved me and was number 1 on their list with only two more people to interview. However, a few days later I was told I had been beat out by some with 10+ years experience.
