Interview
Was approached by founding partner, had informal informational coffee. Following this I formally applied and entered onsite interviews.
Five interviews: three with technical staff, two with founding partners. Overall was a mix of coding, problem solving, statistics, data science and business intuition. Covered statistics, ML, deep dive on how to optimise a particular model type, why that mathematically works, and real-world problems that it would / would not be suited for; database design and how I would think through making a profit from an ML-powered app. Lots of leaning in on technical solutions and exploring the real-world impact of proposed solutions. Partner interviews were case studies and talking through my background + future goals.
We did an initial phone screen. Then we did 2 remote interviews. Last was a final day of interviews on-site for a full day with 5 - 6 people and a mix of problem-solving and behavioral interviews.

Interview
I applied online through their website. Then they set an interview for me with the CEO. It went well and he seemed friendly. Around 3 weeks later, they set the first round of the technical interview with me. The interviewer was not rude, and not friendly either. It was a fair coding question with Data science subject, and a short non coding data science question. I did the code and went well, I was not 100% sure about my answer to the next question tho. It was Friday afternoon, and 3 hours later (6 pm Friday night) I got the rejection email!!! To me it feels like they had already made their decision. Plus, I had read the reviews about their lack of diversity in 2020, and then after I checked their LinkedIn, I realized that ZERO female is working in their R&D (Or they don't have LinkedIn which doesn't seem correct to me). I found it a HUGE red flag.

Interview
On campus recruiting, two phone screenings and then onsite with 5 45 minute interviewers. Lots of questions about different times of ML models, how would you tackle this with ML etc., as well as one straight up management consulting case interview about price elasticity. Also, some basic probability and statistics questions.
