Fox Restaurant Concepts Front of House Staff- Flower Child interview questions

Went in to apply after applying online and was asked to fill out a paper application and was able to speak with someone immediately. The person who spoke to me was very friendly and asked me to come in for a second interview the next day. The person I was originally scheduled to interview with was unavailable so I interviewed with another manager that briefly spoke to me and told me she enjoyed talking to me and asked me to come in the following day for a 'stage' where I would sample each station. She told me to wear what I was wearing (Jeans, Boots, and Cardigan) without any holes in the denim- and that the dress code was Anthropologie/Free People esc. so I returned the following day for my 'Stage' in the same outfit minus the holes and discovered this was definitely not appropriate attire and was promptly sent off. Was a little upset that they asked me to come in 3 days in a row and couldn't even give me proper feedback -I wish they were a little bit more transparent about what exactly a 'stage' was before asking me to return in the same outfit ?
