My interview process with Fragomen lasted approximately 2.5 months, characterised by extreme delays and poor communication. After my interviews, I followed up multiple times over the course of a month via both email and text messages, all of which went unanswered. I was effectively ghosted by the recruiter during this period.
Eventually, I received a brief apology followed immediately by a rejection email. There was no explanation for the prolonged silence, no proactive updates, and no acknowledgement of the repeated follow-ups prior to that point.
Candidates deserve transparency and timely communication, especially when they have invested significant time and effort into an interview process. Being left in limbo for weeks, only to receive a delayed rejection, reflects very poorly on the firm’s recruitment practices.
If you are considering interviewing here, be prepared for long wait times, lack of updates, and inconsistent communication.
Advice to Management:
Respect candidates’ time. If decisions are delayed, communicate that clearly. Ghosting candidates for weeks and responding only to reject them is unacceptable.
