I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Franklin Templeton
Interview
First was an HR interview in Manhattan, very easy, basic questions. Followed by an interview with senior analyst and another associate. Talked about resume and job description, not with much detail though.
Predominantly behavioral, with writing exercise. Met with senior managers then went to lunch with senior analyst team. Key was my academic background and interest in financial markets. And in retrospect the fit within the team at the time.
I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Franklin Templeton (San Mateo, CA) in Feb 2015
Interview
I don't think I had a screening call, but rather talked to the hiring manager for my first call. At the end, they let me know that I made a positive impression and that they'll fly me out to the San Mateo HQ for my onsite. Onsite involved a panel interview, which is universally regarded as poor interview practice by organizational researchers.
