Took around 60 days do you believe? yes
- HR called for the opening of a full-stack developer, discussed expected CTC
- Interview scheduled for 2 rounds front end and backend + managerial - done
- Feedback from HR after follow-up: manager and tech panel gave very + feedback you are not rejected, but they want to interview few more candidates! please wait for 1-2weeks I said okay (As I was also satisfied with what I performed I was 90 sure I gonna make it even if there are many rounds)
- After 2 weeks, HR: same old status you are not rejected you got + feedback
- After 1 month HR: manager wants to have one more round in the backend, I said okay (half the interest is gone in me for the company, and HR said due to covid this is all happening late )
- Instead of 1 they had 2 rounds again with the manager round once again (All Technical)
- HR: scheduled one more round with the director the next day
- Call with the director was good and he was saying within 2 days will release the offer letter and close the process.
- This time HR came back after 1 month again, HR: you are still open to us right we want to close this so I will speak to business, after all these many days (as I'm already in notice period I have got other offers as well communicated same with HR as you took more than 60 days to decide and still seems to be confused, So what actually you're looking at if there is something should have said straight forward instead of this long period of hold, after one your director said everything will be done in 2 days after discussion with him) (I was ready to join the company initially when attended interviews, but by not I lost interest in the company)
- You know what after all this again Hr asked about my expectations I said I have good offer now, He said please let me know so I can talk to business and get back to you so we can close this in this week. I said and he said sorry about the late and okay,
- He never again get back to me, I dont undersatand same like me how many candidates were in hold for same position
- Just should have said yes or no to candidates
(Its obvious even if they had offered me I would have straight away have rejected the offer letter)
- End of story the company which I was very interested to join ended up with a bit of rejection from me.
