I applied at the beginning of July, and was contacted a few days later for my initial phone screening. The recruiter was nice and very polite. She also did a great job with keeping in contact with me throughout the process, which I really appreciated. The entire process took a month. They all seem like very good people and I’m looking forward to working with them!
I applied online. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at Freddie Mac (Arlington, VA)
Interview
1. Received email from recruiter to schedule a phone screening call about 2 months after submitting the online application. Call was standard: go over experience, why do you want to work here
2. Then had a phone call with the hiring director. I had more questions on what the projects are and what the director's experience has been. Was asked very few questions, mainly on experience in the housing industry.
3. Went to Freddie Mac for onsite interview with 4 different directors and senior managers.
Many weeks after the interview got an automated message that the position has been canceled due to changing business needs.
