I applied through college or university. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Freddie Mac (McLean, VA) in Nov 2018
Interview
Met at career fair on campus (UW-Madison). Followed by online automated interview. Last step was I Flew out to McLean, Virginia headquarters for Freddie Day. They have two Freddie Days a year. They paid for everything plus $100 a day food vouchers. Two interviews at tables in a room where others are interviewing at the same time. Headquarters tour was cool. McLean seems boring, all the new hires seemed to have long commutes. Great company, really seem to care about employees. Unbelievably diverse, I’ve never seen anything like it before. Seems like a great place to start your career, exit options are all top real estate firms.
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Freddie Mac (New Orleans, LA) in Oct 2021
