Probably not typical, but the process was extremely fast for me. I applied. 4 days later, HR reached out to me. In the next 6 days, I met with 2 VPs, an SVP, and an EVP. An offer showed up a week later. After some negotiations, a 2nd offer came a week later. Interviews were very straightforward and HR kept me apprised of the process and schedule.

The entire process was very professional and had good communication about benefits, job duties, and the hiring process. I had a chance to talk with lots of different people in the organization and ask questions about work environment and strategy. I felt I had a very clear sense of expectations about this position and good communication after the interviews regarding feedback. It was a lengthy process but moves at a good speed

One of the interviewers, a middle-aged white male, offered me unsolicited advice about my resume and career at the end of the interview. I had the same amount of experience he did and I'm betting he wouldn't have done this if I were male.
