I had two interviews: a competency interview with a partner and senior associate, focused on my motivations for commercial law and examples of teamwork and problem-solving, and a commercial interview discussing a recent deal and wider market trends. There was also an informal coffee chat with trainees, which gave me insight into the firm’s culture and a chance to ask questions.
