I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Frito-Lay (Hobart, IN) in Apr 2019
Interview
Applied online with assessment test, few days later got an email to schedule an in person interview. I studied the type of behavioral questions they would ask and looked up as much information about the company as I could. I watched YouTube videos about coaching for an interview too. I was prepared. I have always been told by reps that I would be a great fit. I had experience and a lot of knowledge. I interviewed with a guy and a girl . I got asked ten behavioral questions . At the beginning of the interview they both looked bored. I quickly got their attention by making them laugh. She kept looking at her phone while I was talking. After the questions ( which belt the way, she said I did a great job answering them) she asked me if I had any questions. I asked them why did they love their jobs. They both looked pleased that I was asking questions and said I would be a perfect fit. The interview lasted an hour . I asked when I would here anything and they said a week from that day. Not even 48 hours later I get an email saying that they went with other people. I didn’t understand why? I saw her making a lot of notes on the top page of my resume and I thought that was a good sign. I know I did a great job on my interview and I know the job. It was very disappointing . I even read that frito lay will hire anyone that has a pulse. I am very upset about the outcome
