      Aircraft Router Interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Frontier Airlines in May 2024

      Interview

My interaction with Frontier Airlines' hiring process left me with mixed feelings, primarily due to the lack of transparency and the impersonal nature of their communication. I applied for a position at Frontier Airlines, confident that I met every requirement outlined in the job posting and possessed relevant hands-on experience. The initial stages of the application process went smoothly, and I was excited about the opportunity. After submitting my application and participating in what I felt was a positive and engaging interview, I was disappointed to receive a generic rejection email. This automated response, clearly crafted by a machine, felt impersonal and detached from the effort I had invested in applying and interviewing for the role. The canned rejection letter not only failed to provide any specific feedback or reasons for their decision but also left me with the impression of disorganization within their hiring process. As a candidate who took the time to thoroughly prepare and present my qualifications, receiving such a generic response was disheartening. It conveyed a lack of consideration for candidates' efforts and failed to uphold the professional standards one expects from a reputable company. Recent news events reflecting Frontier Airlines' financial instability leads me to believe that they may be in financial peril and potentially going out of business. This added to my concerns about the company's commitment to the process. This experience has unfortunately led me to question Frontier Airlines' commitment to a fair and transparent hiring process. Effective communication, especially in conveying decisions to candidates, is crucial for maintaining a positive employer brand and fostering respect among prospective employees. While I remain interested in opportunities that align with my skills and experience, my experience with Frontier Airlines' has highlighted areas where improvements could be made. Clearer communication and feedback in their interactions with candidates would greatly enhance the overall candidate experience and reflect better on the company as a potential employer.
