The first interview was the initial screening process followed by a second interview with the hiring manager. The screening asked basic questions such as what I had done for work previously, where I was from, etc. Each interview was on a Microsoft Teams call which lasted about 30 minutes each.

I had multiple interviews with different people that seemed unnecessary. They build you up like they are going to give you an offer and then two weeks later pass on you.

It was professional and everyone was kind, but it was clear that HR already had a candidate in mind and were just creating busy work for themselves. It’s 2025. It could have been a phone call or zoom meeting.
