I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Fueled in Jan 2020
Interview
The interviewer was ill-prepared with very basic questions and some hypotheticals. It felt very rushed and she talked quite a bit. The interview was scheduled for one hour and I had asked after 30 minutes if she would like to see some of my research and visual work so she could understand my process in the context of a visual or research results. She mentioned it was not necessary or "maybe later".
When I asked certain questions about the role and what they were looking for she mentioned they had so many people to interview and not looking for any leadership type role and needed someone to help "support" the team.
If you look at their clients they are well-known, but according to the interviewer, there is no real research and requirements are captured in a few days. Very misleading and sweatshop like atmosphere. And it's not agency life, many of the best agencies are good at controlling expectations.
If you look at the reviews on how Fueled conducts job interviews, you will see a pattern. It could be a good place for someone starting out to learn but anyone who has any kind of real experience should avoid this place. Also pay is below what they were originally said to offer.

Question 1
The interviewer seemed annoyed with any of my suggestions and what this told me is this is a place that has unrealistic expectations. Certain research methodologies like card sorting and story mapping seemed to go over her head because she asked no follow up or did not allow me to show a visual.
