Recruiter was not upbeat at all and literally read me the job description word-for-word off the website -- she provided zero additional details nor seemed interested in the type of role and environment I was looking in a company. I could tell she was not familiar with product marketing because when she asked me to recite my resume, she did not act like any of my skillsets were in line with what they were wanting even though my skills matched the literal job description. I was asked directly outright why I had left jobs in under a year and when I explained my reasons (time zone challenges working for a manager in another country, career growth) she said it makes sense but she advised me the hiring manager will also be questioning me on it. She mentioned they wanted a PMM for a new mobile product line (could not give me any further clarity on what the mobile product was), but that was no where on the job description and it seemed like that was a critical factor to them. Even thought I had experience working with a mobile product before, I was still not moved forward in the interview process. The only thing I appreciated was being told quickly that I was not moving on, it was a day later than when they said i'd know by, but at least I was told.
