Contacted by a recruiter who sourced my resume from a job board. After a very brief phone interview I was scheduled for an on-site. Upon arrival to the office (which was quite messy and seemingly in a state of chaos) i was given a rather archaic written application that was too cluttered and minuscule to read, let alone fill out neatly.
I had arrived 20 minutes prior to scheduled interview time. Interviewer (A senior executive) was 15 minutes late.
The interview consisted of a very brief tour of the tiny office. I was asked 3 or 4 generic questions, and the interviewer then wrapped up the interview, asking if I had any questions almost as an afterthought. He seemed completely unprepared for the interview, and i felt as though I was being screened for a position that was already filled, or didn't actually exist. I was promised a callback the following week. I did not hear from the interviewer or the recruiter again.
Almost a year later, I was once again cold contacted through my online profile by the recruiter. After reminding the recruiter that we had previously spoken last year, he indicated that the company would once again like to speak with me and that somoene would reach out to me. Just as with the previous interview in 2016, I did not hear from either party again.
Both experiences show completely unprofessional conduct from this organization.
