I applied online. I interviewed at Fullstack Labs in Jun 2026
Interview
Small conversation with an HR representative. Which I should say: he was one of the best professional I've crossed on my career. Brilliant, a real empath. Questions regarding my past professional experiences, challenges and team work experiences. After that I was sent to their internal system, to complete some assessments. My task was a recording screen challenge, 1 hour long, regarding a desktop application to booking reservations for a fictional bookstore. The written challenge was quite hard to understand, there were so many different instructions written down into such a small container, with many typesizes, different weights in words and a clear objective: to export a flow into PNG to later upload them into the system (which is counterintuitive regarding a product design rolê). The whole process should be done using AI as your main resource. After that your work is submitted for their evaluation. Got no feedback, just an email thanking me but putting me away from continuing the process and that's it.

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Fullstack Labs in Nov 2024
Interview
Disorganized and unclear communication throughout the process.
I was initially approached by a recruiter, went through an interview, and completed the design challenge. I was told I had been approved and invited to join their talent pool. After that, I didn’t hear back for months. When I finally did, the communication was vague and lacked clarity.
Over the course of almost a year, I kept receiving automated emails every few weeks asking about my availability and rates—despite never being offered a concrete opportunity. Eventually, I received a message stating they wouldn’t be moving forward with "the opportunity," although no specific role had ever been discussed. It left me questioning whether I was still in their talent pool or ever truly considered.
The lack of transparency and follow-through made the whole experience feel unprofessional—and at times, even made me question the legitimacy of the process.

Question 1
I can't remember, it's been too long since the interview. The product design challenge, however, was to create an app for a coffee place in which users could purchase beverages.
