It was very quick, one preliminary coding exercise round and then onsite interview. My friends has said great things about this company so I had great expectations. I believe I was trapped in the wrong two interviewers. Due to NDA I cannot tell you the exact questions but I can certainly point the concepts. First interviewer was confused between array pointers and pointers of array. I was sure about being right and we debated for a long time but he kept going to the wrong solution, which at a point I felt like to just grab a computer and demo it to him so that he change his way of thinking. He told me that any interviewee has never gave him the correct answer which gave me a giggle inside my head because I knew that they all might have been right, it is him who needs to go back to freshman to learn that stuff. It is not a good practice to be stubborn and not to open up for new solutions. It is an interview not an interrogation. I believe companies should interview their interviewers first to assess whether they are fit to judge skills or not. For me this first interview was enough to decide not to work for this team. Second interviewer was nice, he had good grasp of concepts and he asked me multithreading programming. Knowing that I was new to this field he was helpful and we discussed the problem like we were a team. Third interviewer was ok ok, due to the first interview I wasn't interested anymore so I didn't pay much attention anyways. Whole time instead of looking at the white board he was looking in his computer and didn't pay much attention. This was very rude as I was investing my time instead of making my choice so he should at least have courtesy to at least pay a little attention and ask me questions. I even felt like to just walk away. Overall it was a very bad experience, I wouldnt say company is bad as I don't know much about it but certainly those two guys were just not a good fit for being interviewers. No sane employee would even think to work with such attitude holder senior members. Just an advice to Fungible. Bring some diversity into the interviewers and please tell them to leave the laptops at their desk as there is no work of a laptop or phone while you interview. It is just rude and disrespectful. Also please be open for new solutions. Just because you have been following a method for years doesnt mean that this is the only one. I don't know the outcome of the interview yet and frankly I dont care thats why I have chosen "did not get offer"
