After waiting a couple months for their HR department to finally contact me, I had a simple 30 minute phone interview with someone from HR followed by an unrealistic art test.
The art team's unrealistic expectations (for a position that only required 2 years of experience) and unwillingness to directly communicate made it pretty clear that the company is mismanaged and undergoing serious growth pains. I did not have the opportunity to even speak with anyone other than a single HR rep, and that's simply not how things are done in this industry. Especially when performing art tests or anything that would require more communication and feedback on something for production.
I would steer as far away from working at Funko as you possibly can. The other reviews here should make that obvious as well.
